Coming in strong and in full swing preparing for the album, Impavid Colossus releases this Friday, the 14th, exclusively on Wikimetal, their third single, the exciting “Hope”, which has gained a cinematic and intense music video.
The song is part of Impavid Colossus' first full-length album, which also had its name, cover art, and release date revealed this Friday. Titled Prologue , the album arrives on July 13th via Wikimetal Music , and also includes the singles " Claim Your Existence " and " Home Of The Brave ".
"Hope" is a powerful and impactful song that touches on a sensitive topic in its composition. Written by Enrico Minelli , the song speaks about the irreparable consequences of abuse, of any kind, in the lives of victims, especially women.
The message is reinforced by the sensitive music video, which took care not to graphically depict any type of abuse. Directed by Felipe Schmidt , who also directed the video for "Home Of The Brave," the production was filmed on a farm in the interior of São Paulo and focuses on the touching performance of actress and friend of the band, Jessica Freytag .
With a positive reception from the public, Impavid Colossus seems excited and has high expectations for the album's release. "We can't wait to release the album, which has a great balance between the music and the profound lyrics about issues of all human existence," says guitarist Marcelo Barchetta .
Formed by São Paulo natives Enrico Minelli (vocals), Marcelo Barchetta (guitar), Felipe Ruiz (guitar), Guilherme Malanga (bass) and Alexandre Iafelice (drums), the members of Impavid Colossus have a long musical career and have been part of renowned bands in the national and international scene, such as Cruz , Owl Company , Rancore and Supla .
